GES Appointed to Clean Fight Selection Committee

Greenwich Energy Solutions, Inc. is proud to announce that its President, Stephen Hughes, has been invited to serve for the second time on the Selection Committee for The Clean Fight Accelerator’s newest program focused on decarbonizing affordable and low-to-moderate income (LMI) housing. This prestigious program is part of The Clean Fight’s ongoing effort to scale innovative solutions that address climate change and promote equitable energy transitions.

The Clean Fight Accelerator, now in its fifth edition and third focused on buildings, is dedicated to identifying high-impact solutions that remove barriers to decarbonization and simplify retrofitting for multifamily LMI and affordable housing. This year’s program will target solutions in the areas of energy efficiency and electrification, retrofit navigation, and financing or insurance innovation.

“I am honored to return to this distinguished Selection Committee and once again contribute to advancing impactful solutions for decarbonizing LMI housing,” said Hughes. “Greenwich Energy Solutions remains committed to supporting initiatives that drive sustainability, affordability, and innovation in the built environment.”

As a member of the Selection Committee, Hughes will join other industry experts in evaluating applications based on technical feasibility, market demand, and scalability. Responsibilities include participating in a virtual training session in February and independently reviewing applications from a diverse range of startups offering groundbreaking technologies and services.

The Clean Fight Accelerator’s mission aligns with Greenwich Energy Solutions’ commitment to fostering sustainable energy practices in New York and beyond. Hughes’ continued involvement underscores the company’s dedication to advancing energy efficiency and equitable access to clean energy solutions.
