Stephen Hughes
President and Chief Operating Officer Stephen Hughes has been with the company since its beginnings in benchmarking and energy audits. A Trinity College alumnus with strong technical and project management skills and extensive experience in data analysis, he provides GES with a detail-oriented approach to project management. Mr. Hughes implemented and standardized many of GES's internal analysis procedures. His efforts have been pivotal in securing strategic partnerships and expanding GES's services to meet the growing compliance needs of the New York City market. With a passion for precise calculation, Mr. Hughes drives the development of GES's core methodologies to ensure cutting-edge accuracy for efficiency projects.
Clifford Schorer
Cofounder and Director
Clifford Schorer is a serial entrepreneur who specializes in the start-up acquisition and development of small- and mid-sized companies. He focuses on businesses with unique ideas or technologies that require guidance during their initial growth phases. Mr. Schorer has been involved with companies in the high-tech arena, previously serving as CEO of GeoVideo Networks, a Lucent Technologies Venture. His career also spans various industries, from real estate and office supply to healthcare.
During the early 1990s, Mr. Schorer used his entrepreneurial approach to assist Russia's privatization process. He has also delivered lectures in numerous business and academic forums worldwide. Moreover, Mr. Schorer developed financial management software programs for business education through his publishing company, Bized.
